LG 55-inch 55EM9600 OLED TV stands as the Best of Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. Quite fascinatingly, at the show OLED TV presents the better picture quality than plasma or LCD/LED, features wide viewing angles and lightning-fast response times, combined with an unbelievable form factor.
LG 55-inch OLED TV measures only 4mm in depth, with a bezel around the screen just 1mm wide and its organic light-emitting diode display technology is the future of flat-panel technology.
According to the reports, the cool Simple TV over-the-air DVR and Asus Memo 370T tablet each has grabbed votes, whereas the Makerbot Replicator 3D printer gained the second-most number of supporters after the LG OLED TV. In the meantime, Razer’s crazy Project Fiona concept gaming tablet has grabbed the people’s voice winner award.
LG 55-inch 55EM9600 OLED TV uses 4-subpixel arrangement (red, green, white and blue) with a color filter. On the other hand, Samsung also unveiled its 55-inch OLED TV that uses more traditional 3 subpixels (green, red, and blue) with a color filter.
Quite fascinatingly, one of the engineer at the show states that we must not believe if anyone says that Samsung’s OLED kicked LG’s OLED’s or vice-versa based on what he or she saw at the show. As no one has the chance to compare the two side-by-sides until now.
Ultimately, the team at the CES which had revealed that LG 55-inch OLED TV as the Best of CES states that as they got more information from LG at press time, as well as a model number and official shipping date in third quarter they have noted LG as Best. The team asserts that the more public information a company is willing to reveal, the better.
